Summer Engineering Camp

The Caspian Engineers Society and Qafqaz University intend to organise “Summer Engineering Camp for University Students” between 22 – 28 June 2009.

STUDENT SELECTION PROCESS
Who could be a participant? Call for papers will only be open for the students who are studying at the university and not in the first year study period. School students or anybody who is working in an engineering based company and studying at the same time will be rejected. Distance or online learner’s applications will be acceptable for review.

Selection process
The selection process will be conducted in two stages. Each stage will be on the same date. An logic based questionnaire and then interviews will be arranged for applicants in Qafqaz University. There will be 30 AZN fee after selection process who whish to participate in the program. There is no fee for examination or interview process.

SCOPE
Camp will be organised for up to 20 selected students from Qafqaz University, Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, Khazar University, Azerbaijan Technical University, Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction University, Baku State University and other approved technical universities. The project is planned to last seven days in a residential base. There will be a separate accomodation for women and men. Among various daily activities and interesting program content, visits to different industries, industrial live plants within or around Baku is also planned. Case studies and their evaluation, engineering based movies, management or coaching type exercises is within the scope of the program.

16 May – 5 June 2009, call for applications
6 June 2009, selection of students
8 June 2009, announcement of winners
8-15 June 2009, detailed program finalisation and distribution
15 - 20 June 2009, final preparations
22 – 28 June 2009, engineering camp - Time to start the camp!

Mətn ölçüsü:   Son dövrlər Azərbaycanda özəl universitetləri çıxmaq şərtilə, dövlət ali məktəblərində demək olar ki, rəqabət olmadığından bir çox tələbə işəgötürənlər tərəfindən qəbul edilmir. Ən yüksək keçid balı Qafqaz Universitetinin birinci qrupuna daxil olan kompüter mühəndisliyi ixtisasındadır

Tələbə Qəbulu üzrə Dövlət Komissiyası (TQDK) 2011-2012-ci tədris ili üçün tələbə qəbulu ilə bağlı elmi-statistik təhlilin nəticələrini açıqlayıb. TQDK sədri Məleykə Abbaszadə bildirib ki, bu il ali təhsil müəssisələrinə qəbul imtahanlarında 5433 abtituriyent 500-dən, o cümlədən 1540 abitruiyent 600-dən yuxarı bal toplayıb. M.Abbaszadə abituriyentləri yüksək nəticələr göstərən bölgələrin də müəyyənləşdiyini qeyd edib. Onun sözlərinə bunlar əsasən respublikanın 72 bölgəsini təmsil edir. “Bakı, Sumqayıt, Naxçıvan şəhərləri, o cümlədən Qax, Ordubad, Qəbələ, İsmayıllı rayonlarından ali məktəblərə imtahan verən abituriyentlərin bal göstəriciləri yüksək olub. Bu bölgələrdən ali təhsil müəssislərinə sənəd verən hər 100 nəfər gəncin 6-9-u imtahanlarda 500-dən yuxarı bal toplayır. Bu göstəricidə rayonlar üzrə Qax liderlik edir.
