First IEEE Seminar in Azerbaijan “IEEE Membership Benefits and Opportunities”

held in 26 January 2011 (10:00 – 12:30) at Qafqaz University

Meeting was openned with welcome speech of Qafqaz University rector Prof. Ahmet Sanic. In the context of speech Prof. Sanic noticed the importance of professional membership as framework for cooperation and collaboration of people with the same professional interests.
Dr. Abzetdin Adamov had the speech on IEEE Membership Benefits and Opportunities. The speech enclosed following topics:

Briefly about e-Membership Opportunity
The IEEE new initiative called e-Membership was introduces to participants. e-Membership is new membership option for for professionals from developing countries. Members with e-Membership have access to the same benefits and opportunities as standard members, but for lower proce ($63). Only Professional Members are aligible to apply for e-Membership (Students and Staduate Students are not aligible …).
About AICT2011 International Conference
Participants also were informed on 5th International Conference on Application of Information and Communication Technologies (AICT2011) will be held in Bakuon the 12, 13 and 14th of October 2011. Dr. Abzetdin Adamov as a General Chair of upcoming event welcomed all participants to AICT2011 initiated by Qafqaz University under IEEE technical sponsorship. He also announced the Qafqaz University’s decision to support IEEE Members from Azerbaijan during AICT2011 International Conference. Thus, all IEEE Memebers from Azerbaijan are allotted with opportunity to join to all activities during AICT2011 for free (paper publication, openning program, keynote speechs, tutorials, banquet dinner, …).

Özəl və dövlət ali təhsil məktəbləri arasındakı fərq

Mətn ölçüsü:   Son dövrlər Azərbaycanda özəl universitetləri çıxmaq şərtilə, dövlət ali məktəblərində demək olar ki, rəqabət olmadığından bir çox tələbə işəgötürənlər tərəfindən qəbul edilmir. Nəticədə min bir əziyyətə qatlaşaraq dövlət universitetini bitirib diplom alan tələbə iş tapa bilmir. O da faktdır ki, bir çoxları nəyin bahasına olursa-olsun saxta diploma belə əl ataraq işə qəbul edilir və nəticədə yenə təhsilin tədrisi təhlükə altına düşür. Ən yüksək keçid balı Qafqaz Universitetinin birinci qrupuna daxil olan kompüter mühəndisliyi ixtisasındadır

Tələbə Qəbulu üzrə Dövlət Komissiyası (TQDK) 2011-2012-ci tədris ili üçün tələbə qəbulu ilə bağlı elmi-statistik təhlilin nəticələrini açıqlayıb. TQDK sədri Məleykə Abbaszadə bildirib ki, bu il ali təhsil müəssisələrinə qəbul imtahanlarında 5433 abtituriyent 500-dən, o cümlədən 1540 abitruiyent 600-dən yuxarı bal toplayıb. M.Abbaszadə abituriyentləri yüksək nəticələr göstərən bölgələrin də müəyyənləşdiyini qeyd edib. Onun sözlərinə bunlar əsasən respublikanın 72 bölgəsini təmsil edir. “Bakı, Sumqayıt, Naxçıvan şəhərləri, o cümlədən Qax, Ordubad, Qəbələ, İsmayıllı rayonlarından ali məktəblərə imtahan verən abituriyentlərin bal göstəriciləri yüksək olub. Bu bölgələrdən ali təhsil müəssislərinə sənəd verən hər 100 nəfər gəncin 6-9-u imtahanlarda 500-dən yuxarı bal toplayır. Bu göstəricidə rayonlar üzrə Qax liderlik edir. Qax abituriyentlərinin topladığı bal orta hesabla 255-dən yuxarıdır. İmtahanlarda ən aşağı balı İmişli, Ağsu, Hacıqabul rayonlarının abituriyentləri
